In 1998 I built my first website. In 1999 I built another. It took a long while but I finally figured out that just building a website is not enough – you have to make it easy for people to find you. In 1999 I also founded a niche banner exchange. In 2000 I added a niche directory to my second website to help others navigate the web and to gain customers to my banner exchange. I liked building directories and the search business and had dreams of Total World Domination Through Search, but soon enough, technology made human reviewed directories obsolete. Sigh.

In 2001 I was a moderator at the Searchking forums, and either a moderator or administrator at: Spider Food Forums, Search Guild and FUDWatch. Over the years I have also been a member of many SEO and web development forums: Search Engine Forums, Webmaster World, Cre8asite, Search Engine World, Threadwatch.org to name a few.

I am currently a moderator at FUDWatch.
